Getting Organized with LadyPlans App

As you may have read in my previous post, one of my goals includes finding balance and establishing it in daily practice. But once again, busy work and errands schedule sometimes makes it impossible and turns me into a ball of  a disorganized wreck. Up until recently, a certain app helped me get back on track and regain the sense of balance between work, personal life, and everything in between.

The LadyPlans app is a personal organizer dedicated to women and helping them manage their daily lives easily. It is developed by Julie Dando, a working mom, and a mother of two toddlers. This app is helpful for women struggling with busy schedules and myriad of responsibilities not only for themselves but for their family and loved ones.

WHAT'S INSIDE

As you may notice, the homepage is very clean and is user-friendly. The event maker section is not only limited to you but to your kids, partner, home, and holidays.

This app section helps you plan for events which required preparatory tasks and it already provides a pre-made list of the tasks you need to accomplish for each event.

You can sync it with iCloud, Outlook Exchange, and Google Calendar.

Checklist

This is my favorite part of the app! It contains numerous ready-made checklist useful for trips, work, shopping, and household management among others. As you can see on the screenshot, the checklist Last Minute Packing contains sub-checklists - My Purse, Children's Travel Bag, etc. and under them are the things you need to bring for the trip which you don't have to enter manually. You can also customize and edit this list for your personal preference.

Final thoughts
Finally, an app that gets women! This is what I need to get back on track with organizing. I just need to remind myself though that it still needs work and motivation to find balance in daily practice and to develop organizational skills. The app only is an aid to jumpstart these habits.

How to Get it:
Download the app here and experience it for yourself! The app is currently only available in iOS. The Basic access is for free and the Premium access is only US$1.99. For more information, visit www.ladyplans.com
