One of my resolutions this year is to upgrade my skin regimen, or create one actually. When I was in Highschool, I religiously was able to cleanse, tone, and moisturize every single day. Ironically, this routine disappeared as I grew older. I then realized that I'm not getting any younger and it is very important to take care of my skin. I know it won't be easy and it will require commitment and effort.
It was last weekend that I decided to drop by The Body Shop near me to pick up some skin products. I recently heard that they are currently on a BUY 2 GET 1 offer in their Tea Tree line. Since I have been hearing raves about these products, I gave it a try. I also got one product from their Seaweed range. I'm very excited to try these and see the effects since this is my come back when it comes to skin regimen. The other products I got are listed below.

Tea Tree | Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser, Skin Clearing Toner, Blemish Face Night Lotion |
I bought the Foaming Cleanser and Blemish Face Night Lotion and got the Clearing Toner for FREE as part of their promo. I already tried these last night and they all smelled like green tea infused with mint or eucalyptus. I am not sure if that's how tea tree is supposed to smell like but I like it anyway. The clarifying toner stings a little bit but did not turn my face red or itchy. I read that alcohol can cause this, which I checked was one of the ingredients. This effect may vary depending on every skin type, I guess. A few minutes after I applied the night lotion, my face immediately felt soft and smooth so that's a plus. I will update you regarding this after a few weeks.

Satsuma Hand Cream |
This smells like oranges and lemons! It really does moisturize and leave my hands feeling soft. I'm not really into hand creams so I cannot really say if it's good or not since I cannot compare but so far it does its job of softening my hands.

Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion and shower gel |
I got these for free! For every 1,500 and 2,500, The Body Shop gives a free gift!
Personally, I love how The Body Shop is cruelty-free even though its parent company, L'oreal, isn't. Aside from the fact that it does not test on animals and I like how it makes their products as natural as possible. It might be a little on the pricey side but I have yet to see if it's all worth it. I can't wait to see the effects of these goodies on my skin. I will keep you posted on this!
That's all for now and talk to you soon.
