Product Feature: VMV Hypoallergenics Lipsticks

It has been a bit quiet lately here on my blog but I am here again! 

I recently purchased two lipsticks from VMV hypoallergenics. I am having a hard time looking for a lipstick shade which is close to my natural lip color. I know, you might be thinking that finding a lip color which resembles your natural lips defies the sole purpose of a lipstick. But I just want something to enhance my lip color, making them look healthier and more polished. 

I have not tried VMV but I have heard good reviews about this brand. It being hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, are some of the benefits which sound absolutely appealing to me. The product claims to be:

• 100% Dye-Free.
• 100% Free of Irritating Waxes (including Beeswax and its cross-reactors), Phthalates, Parabens + Preservatives.
• 100% Free of All-Types-Of-Fragrance.
• Non-Comedogenic, Non-Drying. Non-Darkening. Usage + Patch-Tested

These are all good news!

I bought two shades: 

1. Beet Sugar - subtle shine finish
2. Saloon - velvet matte finish

Packaging looks simple and sleek

They look very natural on my lips, perfect for casual everyday look

Formula

They are both non-drying. The matte finish is surprisingly moisturizing. They are lightweight but not to the extent that you forget you're wearing a lipstick.

Longevity

This is quite questionable since after 4 hours there is only a subtle hint left. The good thing is that it has minimal transfer.

Price

Each lipstick retails for 1,060 pesos but every now and then they are on sale. I bought mine for 1,500 pesos for two which is 30% off the total original price. What a steal right?

I also got their loyalty card for free and already earned 4 points. You even earn 1 point if you return the product box or if you simple purchase the item without their respective box, which is smart since it promotes recycling.
